  BUSINESS INFORMATION
Meeting Schedules
Peruvians, as with most Latin Americans, demonstrate a relaxed attitude towards schedules. It is common for them to arrive an hour or more later to a social event. Therefore, it is a good idea to remind others beforehand about respecting the meeting time.

Attire
Formal attire is preferable for business meetings unless they are carried out in recreational areas or in the countryside. Formal clothing consists of a two-piece suit and a necktie for men. Tuxedos are worn only for very formal or diplomatic events. A dark suit is recommended for nightly meetings or funerals.

The Peruvian Business Person
The Peruvian business person is typically serious, honest, and hard working. A business idiosyncrasy in Peru is the problem business people have when it comes time to express lack of interest or to simply say no. It is not unusual that they keep you waiting for a decision without actually telling you ‘no’.
