Sales Terms and Conditions I Cancellation and Reimbursement Policies
All cancellation, devolution or reimbursement request must be done by written.
INDIVIDUAL PASSENGERS
- If a request is received until and including 45 days the arrival of the passenger, the devolution or reimbursement will be subject to a penalty of 10% of the total amount for administrative expenses, without taking into account the financial expenses related to the cost for the bank transfer, commission of the credit card and any other expense and/or cost related to the devolution, unless exceptions to be specified forwards.
- If a request for cancellation is received until and including 30 days before the arrival of the passengers, the devolution or reimbursement will be subject to 25% of the cancellation expenses, without taking into account the financial expenses related to the cost for the bank transfer, commission of the credit card and any other expense and/or cost related to the devolution, unless exceptions to be specified forwards.
- If an annulment is received 29 -15 days before the arrival of the passengers, the devolution or reimbursement will be subject to 50% of the cancellation expenses, without taking into account the financial expenses related to the cost for the bank transfer, commission of the credit card and any other expense and/or cost related to the devolution, unless exceptions to be specified forwards.
- No devolution or reimbursement will be granted if the cancellation request is received 14 days or less before the arrival of the passengers. Also, no devolution or reimbursement will be granted if the passengers do not appear or if they cancel the service during the trip. There is no reimbursement or devolution for part of the tourist packages or stays not used.
- In case of canceling tourist packages which include the air, bus and/or train transportation service already issued, no reimbursement or devolution will be granted for these services.
- Certain services could be interrupted or canceled due to climate conditions, reasons of greater force, God’s acts, disturbances, etc. or others out of hotels, airlines, providers or agency hands. No devolution or reimbursement will be granted as result of these interruptions or cancellations totally out of our control.
- Exceptions apply to what has been stated above, the details are explained above.
GROUPS OF PASSENGERS
- If a request is received until and including 60 days before the arrival of the passengers, the devolution or reimbursement will be subject to a 10% penalty from the total cost because administrative expenses, beside the financial expenses related to the cost of the bank transfer, commission of the credit card and any other expense and/or additional cost related to the devolution, unless exceptions specified forwards.
- If a request is received until and including 45 days before the arrival of the passengers, the devolution or reimbursement will be subject to a 50% penalty for cancellation costs, beside the financial expenses related to the cost of the bank transfer, commission of the credit card and any other expense and/or additional cost related to the devolution, unless exceptions specified forwards.
- If a request is received until and including 44-30 days before the arrival of the passengers, the devolution or reimbursement will be subject to a 75% penalty for cancellation costs, beside the financial expenses related to the cost of the bank transfer, commission of the credit card and any other expense and/or additional cost related to the devolution, unless exceptions specified forwards.
- No devolution or reimbursement will be granted if the cancellation request is received 29 days or less before the arrival of the passengers. Also, no devolution or reimbursement will be granted if the passengers do not appear or if they cancel the service during the trip.
- There is no reimbursement or devolution for part of the tourist packages or stays not used. In case of cancellation of tourist packages which include the air, bus and/or train transportation service already issued, no reimbursement or devolution will be granted for these services. EXCEPTIONS
- In case of cancellations of tourist packages including the “Camino Inca” service, no reimbursement will be granted due to the special characteristics of this service.
- In case of cancellations of only the “Camino Inca” service, no reimbursement will be granted for this service due to the special characteristics of this service.
- In case of cancellations of tourist packages including the train service to “Machu Picchu”, “Valle Sagrado” or “Puno”, nor reimbursement will be granted for this service due to the special characteristics of these services.
- In case of cancellations of the train service to “Machu Picchu”, “Valle Sagrado” or “Puno”, nor reimbursement will be granted for this service due to the special characteristics of these services.
- In case of cancellations of tourist packages including lodging in the following hotels: “Monasterio”, “Sanctuary Lodge”, “Park Plaza & Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel”, nor reimbursement will be granted for the nights in those hotels.
- In case of cancellations of lodging services in the following hotels: “Monasterio”, “Sanctuary Lodge”, “Park Plaza & Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel”, nor reimbursement will be granted for the nights in those hotels.
Note: Certain suppliers have more rigorous cancellation policies related to groups of passengers. Therefore in the reservations made by groups which exceed 10 passengers, the suppliers will reserve the right of imposing a penalty of 25% until 90 days before the date of the trip, and 100% for annulments until 45 days before the date of the trip. During the high season, our company reserves the right to alter the cancellation policies if our suppliers apply several penalties besides the above mentioned ones. |
