Upon arrival, reception and transfer to Madre De Dios River dock, where a motor boat ride will take you to Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica Lodge. Upon arrival, after a short briefing, you will settle into your beautiful cabaña for a refreshing siesta. In the afternoon, after lunch, you will enjoy a guided walk through the lodge trails discovering the incredible realm of the Amazon rain forest. The trails offer an excellent introduction to the environment of the jungle. In the late afternoon, you will experience your first night Twilight River Excursion on a guided motor boat ride witnessing the enchanting transformation from a diurnal to a nocturnal environment. Day 02:
INKATERRA RESERVA AMAZONICA
After an early breakfast, a motor boat ride and a three kilometers walk will take you to Lake Sandoval, a beautiful mirror-like oxbow lake home of a unique wildlife, in the Tambopata National Reserve. In the afternoon, after lunch, a short motor boat ride will take you to the canopy walkway, a suspended bridge connected by tree platforms, at Inkaterra Interpretation Center. Enjoy landscapes and vistas that would be unimaginable from below, millions of species, many still undiscovered; spend their entire lives in this realm. After descending you will visit a nearby wetland area, where you will experience an important rain forest ecosystem with unique plant and bird life.
