Suasi Island is a small private island in the Titikaka lake, the world's highest navigable body of water, is a genuine home for nature lovers where the magnificence of Lake Titicaca can be captured from every corner of the island. Other attractions are the Uros Islands, a fantastic and unique compound comprised of artificial isles built from the totora reed (marsh reeds); the Taquile Island, where its habitants are distinguished by their detailed, fine, and colorful textiles; Sillustani, an impressive fortified burial towers (chullpas), where nobles were buried in these cylindrical chullpas in pre-Inca times.
